Thailand is a country located on the Indochina peninsula in Southeast Asia. It is famous for its tropical beaches, grand royal palaces, old ruins, and temples with beautiful carvings of Buddha, who is a highly respected symbol. The capital city, Bangkok, has a modern skyline alongside peaceful areas near canals and rivers. Places like Chinatown are busy commercial areas with narrow streets filled with shops, markets, and restaurants.
