Portugal is a country in Southern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula. It has a lot of history, culture, and beautiful places to see. The capital city, Lisbon, is known for its colorful streets, old trams, and fun atmosphere. Porto is famous for its wine, and the Algarve area has some of the best beaches in Europe. The country also has amazing castles, pretty coasts, and a friendly, warm way of living. Since Portugal is part of the Schengen Area, having a Portuguese visa lets you travel to many other European countries too.

Embassy Requirements

Original passport with at least six months left until it expires and one empty page for stamping.

Copies of all the passports you’ve had before.

One copy of the latest passport pages that have your name and photo on them.

A copy of your CNIC or Family “B” form from Nadra, especially if your kids are coming along. It needs to be the computerized version.

Two recent passport photos, not older than six months. Make sure your full name and birth date are written on the back of the photos.

A letter from your job confirming your position, salary, and the dates you’re taking leave. If you’re a housewife or student, you need proof that your guardian is employed.

Recent bank statements from the last six months, either from your personal account or your company’s account.


A confirmed flight booking and your travel plan.

Proof that you’ve booked a hotel in Portugal.

Travel insurance that covers the Schengen area.

Any other documents that show you have strong connections to Pakistan.

Note: The visa fee is not refundable if your application is rejected or if there’s a delay in processing.
